Info
The Feral MBA is a radically re-imagined training course in business for artists and others. It responds to the towering failure of business-as-usual to maintain a liveable planet. The focus of this uncommon business gathering is not on 'making it' in an extractive economy whose core assumptions of competition, productivity and endless growth are unarguably bankrupt. Instead, the aim is to provision ourselves with experimental skills and vital camaraderie to test out other ways of doing and being in business.
The Feral MBA will be held in Lake Tyers and is an endeavour by artist, trader and feral economist Kate Rich. For more information on the Feral MBA including how to apply see here

As part of the Observatorium 2 year project, the Walking Festival will amble out from the shores of Bung Yarnda/Lake Tyers. The Walking Festival aims to showcase the stunning Ramsar listed body of water and its immediate surrounds through the knowledge of traditional owners, locals and the temporary lived experience of artists staying on board FLOAT.
Starting in March 2023 and ending with a series of costume making workshops and a Sea Hags and Lake Monsters costume parade on April 2nd led by FLOAT artist in residence Julia Drouihn. More details coming soon....

Waterfront was presented by School of Untourism and Centre for Architecture/ Open House Melbourne as part of Melbourne Design Week—an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
Design Week theme: Design the World that You Want. A critical role of design is to imagine and create alternative worlds with inventions, products, services, environments, materials and processes that respond to current issues and improve the quality of life for everyone. School of Untourism, in collaboration with Forum of Sensory Motion, curated a 12 part program across Lakes Entrance, Lake Tyers and Metung incorporating talks, boat tours, a seaweed dinner, a kayak orchestra, workshops, exhibitions and a pop up bathing experience.
